The Ford Galaxy ran the full-size line that ford had to offer from 1959 to 1974, and the name Galaxy was given to capture the excitement around the space race between countries. The Galaxy 500 was always the upper scale luxury version of the full-size car so it offered sleek looks with plenty of amenities (at least back in those days). But it wasnandrsquo;t until 1964, the last year for the 2nd generation Galaxy, that the popularity really took off. And for the first time the Galaxy 500 was looked at more than just a luxury liner. The 1964 was lower, sleeker and more aerodynamic than any other previous Galaxy. This was done for NASCAR where the 500 started making a name for itself as a large muscle car. Exterior:

As you can see from the photos, this beauty is ready for show or go. The full frame up restoration was completed around 5 years ago and it is show quality. The convertible top is brand new and operates flawlessly. The body is straight and solid with excellent panel fitment. The floors and trunk are solid too. All the glass is in excellent condition and the bright work is brilliant. It has thunderbird spokes on it to give it a classy look with brand new 1 white walls. Interior:

The interior is absolutely brand new. It has been restored to show quality. Everything functions properly and everything works. The carpets, door panels, dash and seats are near perfect. Please review all the photos and let us know of any questions you may have.

Drive-Train:

The engine is a rebuilt 352 V8 with a four barrel carburetor. There are over $11,000 in receipts for the engine and engine compartment. The vehicle runs as good as its going to. No smoke, taps or knocks and the transmission shift perfectly. This Galaxy is ready for the road and all brakes, tires, suspension, belts and hoses are all road worthy and ready to show or go.
