Custom built mainly to tribute and revisit the look and success of the 1963,1964 Total Performance drag racing years of Ford Motor Company products and responsible individuals in the day. This vintage Thunderbolt style is very formidable looking with this great looking delivery body, having better weight distribution to the rear and having a smaller and lighter size than the 1964 Thunderbolt Fairlane. Even though this car calls out for 427 FE or SOHC power, the strong running Edelbrock carb 302, C-4, floor shifted drivetrain, with narrowed rear end, front disc brakes and fiberglass ram air hood runs great. However due to sitting unused so long in storage, the valve stem seals in the heads have dried out and will need attention via new valve stem seal replacements or heads redone. You will also need to source a set of bucket seats as they are no longer in car as well as some outer tailgate trim moldings. Body is an original western state, super solid, super straight body. The body panels are clean with no damage ever to them to achieve the high quality fitment that is teamed together with super chrome throughout. The light blue interior color combination is a stunning accent on the white body and still new in its restored configuration with new soft trim, beautiful chrome dash and interior appointments, glass and seals. The paint is presentable but no longer show quality. It needs attention to look show quality again due to cover rub through and scratches. Wheels shown in both versions of pictures have since been replaced with 5 wide factory 15 inch steel factory police wheels and blackwall tires.
