| Details: | 1964 Oldsmobile Cutlass two door hard top. 442 clone in Black Cherry paint from 1996 with Black interior. Complete front end overhaul with all new bushings, springs, ball joints and shocks done in the late 1990s Engine is a 1970s 455ci Olds #396021F with a mild cam, headers, power steering and power brakes. Engine was reconditioned in the late 1990s just before I got the car. The car had about 82000 miles in 1997 and now has 86155 miles. The transmission is a 1966 Variable Pitch TH400 completely rebuilt in 2012 and it has a Quick Silver BandM shifter. The rear end is a 12 bolt with 342 posi and was completely reconditioned and installed with new control arms and shocks in 2000. The engine spare 4 speed and rear end came out of a 442. I also have the original 330ci 4 barrel engine with auto trans plus the complete 4 speed set up. This includes original flywheel clutch pressure plate, Hurst 442 shifter, blow proof bell housing, and pedals, springs, bolting hardware, and springs. The car has a dealer style under dash AC with condenser mounted in front of rad. but the compressor is bracketed for the 330ci and therefor the AC is not operable. The car is in need of body work and paint but this is an unusual Muscle car from the 60s that runs well an has been great fun to own. |
