1965 Dodge Dart GT - Mopar guys out there, a great car that has so much potential. It is a sweet old car, with an Italian flair to the body lines,and is a good looking 2dr. hardtop.It came with the early predasessor to the venerable 318,known as the 270 V-8 and,it has the solid lifter cam,and came with factory air cond.The car has original power steering,and auto. trans.bucket seats,console with floor shifter,and is in mostly origonal condition except for one repaint,(came out gold).Ive never had it running, and engine is partially disassembled,rocker shafts,valve covers,manifold etc.Im not sure of the condition of the engine,but if need be parts are easy to find or one could drop in a warmed up 340,or 360 and have quite the sleeper. It has new original size tires on it now,and you never have to air them. I roll it around regularly so it doesnt get flat spots, or dry rot.The headliner has decided to give way, and started falling down, but rest of interior is in pretty good condition, for a nearly 50 yr. old car.There is some fender damage (left front),but is fixable in the right hands,and the body has very few dings etc.,besides that. It was a New Mexico car, and really has no rust, or a minute bit somewhere just to be safe,it really is an awesome start,and would make a nice resto. project for an origonal,or one heck of a street rod,with some updated components,but is a very rare,and desirable platform.
