This is an honest example of an unmolested original( except for paint) 1965 289 a code 4 barrel Mustang Coupe with original vinyl top. It has the rare factory air conditioning option as well as the automatic transmission with the console between the bucket seats. The headliner and seats are in very good original condition. Mechanically the engine is strong and original. There is an exhaust leak, the power steering has a minor leak and the front end is showing its age. Also the rear windows slip and the dash needs an ivr. All minor fixes. I recently replaced the transmission rear seal. In the mean time, it is a great looking, extremely fun driving head turner. There is very minor rust at the bottom of the doors which is typical. The trunk, floor and engine compartment is solid. This will be an excellent restoration or daily driver for someone who appreciates classic American sports cars. Also, the Mustang is incredibly affordable to maintain and or restore.
