STK 2162 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 XL The 1965 Ford Galaxie was an all-new designand#44; much wider than in previous yearsand#44; and featuring stacked headlights. This unmolested Galaxie 500XL looks like it just rolled into the showroom. The current owner has had it in his collection for the last five years and the odometer reads only 12and#44;756 original miles. Truly genuineand#44; this exceptional hardtop has been a participant in numerous shows sponsored by the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) and has placed 1st and 2nd at two different Gran National events. The handsome Blue exterior is all original and all chrome trim is in near 65 condition. Narrow whitewallsand#44; chrome fender skirts and correct wire-wheel covers w/spinners accent the bodys timeless lines. The Blue interior is all showroom stock right down to the AM radio and electric clock. Standard equipment on these cars was a deluxe offering with bucket seatsand#44; consoleand#44; wall-to-wall carpetingand#44; courtesy lights and contoured vinyl upholstery among other luxury and performance features.
