AUSTIN HEALEY 3000 MK III BJ8! TOTAL ROTISSERIE RESTORATION! BRITISH HERITAGE CERTIFICATE! RECENTLY INSPECTED and SERVICED BY LOCAL AUSTIN HEALEY SPECIALIST! PERFECT EXAMPLE! This is a stunning example of a completely restored later production BJ8 roadster. The car is a May 2013 show Best in Class award winner. A complete frame-off rotisserie restoration to original factory specifications was completed in Nov 2007 by noted Ohio Healey specialist Lynn Cline (his 13th). The restoration and subsequent work is completely documented by over 100 photos and receipts totaling over $100k. Restoration includes a professional engine build performed by Medina Motor Sport with new pistons bearing timing chain harmonic balancer valves and hardened valve seats for unleaded gas. Car has approx 10000 miles on rebuilt engine. Custom fitted leather interior with new foam blue karavel carpets burl walnut dash stainless steel exhaust and authentic 72-spoke Dayton chrome wire wheels. Other new items include triplex windshield radiator seat track fuel tank with sender unit and British everflex top andamp; boot. Since the 2007 restoration several additional improvements have been made including insulating the entire cockpit with dynamat thermal/sound insulation and dynapad carpet pads on the floors. Installed Pertronix electronic ignition interior mirror stem extension bullet side mirrors new blue tonneau cover and rear seat belts. Just Superb!
