Details: 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe. I have owned this Car Since 2001 or 2002. Car has been in storage for the last six to seven years and will start but runs a little rough. It is currently not road a worthy. This has been a Father/Son project with TONS of hours put into it. The Motor dropped the Timing Chain, hence the motor swap. Only drove it 2 years during college and upon graduation it went into storage when he bought a new car. I believe the transmission main seal needs replacement due to loss of transmission fluid. Brakes not currently working and will need some work. The brakes were working and the vehicle was a daily driver prior to storage. Motor is a Transplant 5.0 HO V8. Complete wiring harness and Computer from donor Vehicle installed but not thinned out from original. Motor has all attached devices, Water pump, Power steering pump, alternator and A/C compressor, and is running a Serpentine belt system. It is cooled by a 4 row Mustang replacement radiator. The Cam Shaft was replaced with a Lunati 292 Cam Shaft and Tri-Y headers were installed. The rest of the Exhaust system will probably need to be replaced due to age. The current exhaust was temporarily tied into the headers until the exhaust could be replaced, but then the car was put into storage and the exhaust was never replaced. Current pipes on exhaust are thin and rusted. Body was taken down to Metal and professionally Repainted with DuPont Chromabase Paint, Approx. 12-13 years ago and has minimal Bondo work done. Paint is Chevy Indigo Blue with Silver Racing stripes from front to back. Roof has some of the clear coat peeling that only started recently. -Vehicle is on consignment and at our clients home -Please Call First and talk to a rep at 231-468-2809 EXT 1 -Showroom is by appointment only Please Call -If you would like a FREE Listing please visit our consignment page or Call
