This Olds 442 is for the person who believes in preservation not restoration. This 442 is in immacualate condition . The car is 99.9% original it has had one repaint in 2012 the same color as when it left the factory.The exterior color combination (Autumn Bronze with a Fawn convertible top) is stunning. I dont believe theres another 442 with this color combination. This 442 is a all matching numbers.The Drive train has never been touched except for normal maintainince.The engine is a 400 ci the block and heads are(E) code which are very RARE. with a 4 bbl Rochester carb. The transmission is the Jet- Away II with a switch pitch torque converter.The cars comes with DOCS ie:a copy of the Orignal Bill of Sale,(Im the second owner} Shipping invoice, PROTECTO PLATE all owners manuals, years of state registration reciepts.Many parts and service reciepts.It comes with( 2)sets of wheels and tires.One set are the original ss1 wheels and I was told that the redline bius ply tire are the ones that where on the car when they picked it up from the dealer. I mount these when I show the car.The second set are SS1wheels with BFGoodrich TA radials that are almost new .I Have many extra parts that will go with the car ex: Olds AM-FM radio (AM installed),wire harness etc, etc. There is so much more I can tell you about this 442.
