| Details: | This is quite a rare car that is a first here at Windy City Rods. A 1967 Buick Riviera GS. Yes a REAL GS (Gran Sport) numbers matching. Before putting the car for sale the customer had us make sure the car was in tip top shape for the next lucky owner. After assessing the Riviera the first thing we all noticed was the paint job could use a good wet sand and buff to really bring out the shine. After that we did visual touch ups under the hood, replacing all the stickers, repainting the motor etc. This Buick already ran pretty good, but we here at Windy City have high standards so we gave it a full tune up with all new gaskets and parts. The exhaust was a little aged so we replaced it from the headers back with all new custom bent, stainless piping, and flow master mufflers to give that 430ci V8 that perfect sound. We addressed some wiring issues with the vehicle, got the windows to function properly, and generally touched up all the odds and ends and misc quirks about the vehicle. After that there was nothing left but to give it a professional cleaning and put it on the market. |
