| Details: | New to our inventory is this beautiful 1967 Chevelle SS 396 finished in Butternut Yellow with a black vinyl top. It is a true 138 car painted in its original color...although a vinyl top was added at some point in its life...It is powered by its numbers matching (ED code) 396/325 motor and 4 speed M20 Muncie transmission mated to a posi-traction rear end with 3.36 gears. It is equipped with power steering power brakes floor mounted console with clock (currently not working) an updated AM/FM stereo seat belts and tinted glass. After market gauges (tach amps water temp oil pressure) are tastefully mounted under the dash and all function as they should. This car was originally sold at Ryan Chevrolet in Hattiesburg Mississippi and was still a Mississippi car in February of 2000...so no rust issues anywhere just look at the pictures of the underside. The front bucket seats looks like they have been replaced at some point not too long ago...the vinyl seats are in excellent shape...rear seats appear to be original but in excellent shape...carpet looks newer showing no fading or tears and the head liner is in excellent condition. Chrome looks new and stainless shows no age. Recent repairs...heads rebuilt new coil springs and shocks suspension rebuilt with new bushings and rubber new clutch and bearings...distributor and coil replaced as well as the E-Brake cable...along with a new gas tank and sending unit The glass in the rear window has been replaced (new stainless trim installed) as has the glass in the drivers door. Both rocker panel trim pieces have been replaced. This car is an excellent example of the last year for the 67 A body style before the change in 68. |
