| Details: | Black on black, big block, 4-speed and SS trim is just the right recipe to draw lots of attention on the street, cruise-ins or car shows. This Chevelle has been restored to very high standards. Even though it came a 136 car, a complete restoration has transformed it into a gorgeous SS, and it looks better and better the closer you look. Sheet metal is straight thanks to blocking every inch of it and body gaps are as good as it can get. Doors close easily and fit just right. Paint is very slick with depth due to color sanding and buffing to a very high gloss. Underneath is just as nice as the top side. The car has its original floor pans which are blemish free with rust apparently never an issue. Check out our pictures of the underside of this car. All bright work is very good, including new bumpers. Grill is straight and pretty. Tinted glass is in great condition, looks new. Light lens and emblems look fresh as well as the weather stripping. The factory SS hood with its simulated vents is present. When looking at the interior you feel like youre looking at a new car. Seat covers, carpet, headliner, door panels, dash cover, and everything else looks new. There is a console mounted tach and a cluster of three auxillary under dash gauges. Other interior extras are tilt steering column, billet steering wheel and AMFM cassette. The engine bay is neatly detailed with Chevy orange paint on engine, chrome breather, valve covers, power brake booster and master cylinder cover. Intake is polished aluminum with billet water pump and engine pulley. A large aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, switched to cut off and on as desired keep cooling to a maximum. Ceramic coated Hooker headers. Engine is a fresh built 454 ci with a 4 barrel carb accompanied by a Muncie 4 speed transmission and a 12 bolt rear end. Brakes are power with disc front and drum rear. Front and rear stabilizer bars insure good handling. Power steering makes driving a pleasure. The wheels are 8 Corvette ralleys with Firestone Firehawk tires 2356015 front and rear.
