| Details: | 1967 Chevrolet Corvette With the creation of the C2 Corvette the Sting Ray was born. These cars had a drastically different look than their C1 predecessors and brought to the market the first ever production Corvette Coupe. 1967 was the last year of the C2s and was the best of the line as it had 5 years of refinements on previous models. This 1967 Vette is a beautifully done car. It has been restored and runs great. The body is straight without any evidence of previous wrecks or damage. It is painted in a bright Red paint that has been redone. All of the chrome/stainless pieces have a nice shine with no dents or pitting issues. All of the glass is in good condition as well. It rides on its original Corvette aluminum turbine wheels that are wrapped with thin redline tires. Data Code Decoding G16 - February 16, 1967 437 - Coupe A - A.O. Smith body STD - Black Vinyl Interior 974 - Red paint Under the hood is a 327 V8 350hp L79 motor that is believed to be numbers matching. It has been rebuilt and runs strong. The cooling system is operating perfectly and even in the hot Texas sun while idling doesnt have an issue. It is backed by an original M21 Muncie 4 speed transmission that shifts smoothly. Under all four corners are the factory disc brakes and in addition to that the car was ordered with air conditioning, power windows and the shielded side exhaust. The really runs well and sounds great. The interior is done in all Black and is in great shape. The carpet is showing very minimal wear and there are no tears in the seat upholstery.
