| Details: | Just arrived is a 1967 Impala convertible that is one of the most reliable cars we have ever owned. It has just returned from a 6000 mile round trip on Route 66 without issue. It has also made a couple round trips to the Outer Banks and back. It s remarkably solid and rattle free o a convertible. Old convertibles tend to twist and torque over bumps...this one doesnt. It is powered by a rebuilt 327 and a Chevy 3 speed automatic that was optional equipment in 1967. There has been a repaint in the original factory butternut yellow color. Interior is in excellent condition with only slight wear on the ribbing of the drivers seat. All gauges work...the clock even keeps accurate time. There is an after market radio that uses the original working rear speaker. Power steering and power brakes make this Impala a ream to drive. The power top is in like new condition as is the boot. Solid frame and trunk make this car an ideal cruiser. If yo are looking for a reliable classic convertible to enjoy and drive anywhere this is the car for you. |
