Full-size muscle doesnt get much cooler than this 1967 Impala. A handsome cruiser thats ready to enjoy at the local cruise nightand#44; it represents Chevys top-of-the-line in terms of style and performance. And thanks to a strong-running 327and#44; its a genuine pleasure to drive on the streetand#44; not just a pretty face. The fastback profile of the big Imp looks fast just sitting stilland#44; and in 1967and#44; there was no faster way to transport yourself and four friends than this. Finished in gorgeous code F Marina Blue (which is the cars original color)and#44; you can park this car anywhere and use it to navigate its so brilliant. The crease running along the top of the quarter panels stands out thanks to great attention to detailand#44; and every panel was hand-fitted so that the gaps are quite good all the way around. The two-stage urethane paint has a shine that buffs up nicely even though its a few years old and has been driven on the street. Up front theres a polished grilleand#44; bright chrome bumpersand#44; and traditional Impala 3-element taillights out back. Weve sold quite a few Impalas over the yearsand#44; but the big blue ones seem to be everyones favorites. And yesand#44; its a real SSand#44; so it comes by those badges honestly. Like the exteriorand#44; the interior is simply a nicely restored stock setupand#44; complete with bucket seats and a center console. All the upholstery is as nice as the bodyworkand#44; with original patterns and materials expertly replicatedand#44; and only the steering wheel stands out as not as nice as the rest. Beautifully finished instruments show sharp markings and clear lensesand#44; and theres an aftermarket tach and auxiliary gauges under the dash. And its so correct that even the original AM radio is still in the center of the dash. In backand#44; this big Imp offers full-sized comfort even for rear seat passengers as well as what may very well be one of the largest trunks ever fitted to an American car. Its finished properly with spatter paint and a correct matand#44; plus a full sized Rally wheel and spare tire. As I saidand#44; theres decent horsepower under the hood in the form of a 327 cubic inch small block V8. Equipped with a Edelbrock intake and 4-barrel carband#44; it makes smooth powerand#44; yet is happy to trundle around town without complaint. The engine bay was prepped and painted as well as the exteriorand#44; and that lovely 327 was dressed in Chevy Orange with handsome finned valve covers similar to those found on later Z/28s. Things like the air cleanerand#44; accessories and radiator are original-specand#44; and youll also note it has power steering and brakesand#44; which are practically mandatory on a car this big. A Powerglide 2-speed automatic transmission is built to take the abuseand#44; and spins a rugged 10-bolt rearand#44; which hangs on a fresh set of shocks. Stock cast iron exhaust manifolds feed a new Flowmaster dual exhaust systemand#44; but its otherwise quite stock underneath. The bright Marina Blue finish is perfectly complemented by the flashy Rally wheels with polished trim rings and sitting on 225/70/15 Goodyear radials. Big Impalas still represent a lot of car for the moneyand#44; just as they did in the 60s. This one is in exactly the right condition for easy cruising and lots of fun without worries. Call today! |
