1967 Chevrolet Impala 427 Sport Coupe Featured in Tim Allenandrsquo;s sitcom: Last Man Standing which included an appearance from Jay Leno. The Chevrolet Impala was restyled for 1967, appearing longer and larger, with a new fastback roofline that redefined the big Chevyandrsquo;s profile. Impala Super Sport models were for the first time identified in part by unique Black body trim that included a partly Blacked-out grille, a Black insert between the tail lights and Black lower body trim pieces in place of the bright pieces used on other Impalas. Super Sport Impalas also bore prominent SS badging on the grille, trunk lid and front fenders. SS interiors were distinguished by Strato bucket seats, special instrumentation, brushed aluminum dash and console inserts and SS script on the glove box door. Sold new at Eppys Chevrolet in Canton, Ohio, this 1967 Chevrolet Impala SS packs the most fun-per-horsepower available in Chevroletandrsquo;s full-size luxury performer: the L36 427/385 HP big block V-8, here backed with a factory 4-speed manual transmission. One of just 2,124 big block 4-speeds built in 1967, it was restored in 2008 and finished in gorgeous Marina Blue paint with matching Blue interior. Further recommending it is generous documentation that includes the original broadcast sheet, Protect-O-Plate and a copy of the original title. |
