This 1967 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova wagon is one of the most interesting cars we have ever seen. Highly documented and meticulously restored to factory standards on the exterior and in the engine bay. But inside is a fully customized A/C interior. This was the final year for the Chevy II wagonand#44; and someone set it off with a very handsome tribute. The car came from Californiaand#44; and the black plates even come with the sale. The original Butternut Yellow was resprayed with a very professional hand so you get a show quality shine. The car was disassembled before the paintingand#44; so all four doors shut with confidence and line up with the sheetmetal crease that runs the full length of this shoebox wagon. Even the tailgate received plenty of attention to erase any evidence of when it was sat on for picnics and football games. These Chevy IIs did not have excessive brightworkand#44; so ever piece really counts. Thats why this one comes with all the correct badgingand#44; the trim looks fantasticand#44; and the grille has been restore so it flawlessly extends through the headlights. The largest items of chromeand#44; the bumpersand#44; were even re-dipped so they can shine like mirrors. For a little additional flareand#44; larger than factory Rally wheels were added for a subtle aggressive touch that doesnt interfere with this Chevys stock appearance. Chevy II wagons usually had two rows of vinyl benches. Insteadand#44; this one has resculpted/recovered bucket seats up front and three-person sculpted seating in the rear. All of it is covered in butter-smooth leather. The tan and chrome theme on the seats is repeated on the custom door panelsand#44; headlinerand#44; and cargo/tailgate area. We know youve spotted the one-of-a-kind center console. Not only does it make trips exceptionally more comfortable with the armrest and cup holdersand#44; but it also has the controls for the modern R-134a air conditioning. While this is an expensive custom buildand#44; we really do like how it keeps its vintage style with the factory steering wheeland#44; gaugesand#44; and AM radio. Under the hood it feels like its 1967. The inline-six motor is a cool tribute to the budget-minded origins of the Chevy IIand#44; but as you can seeand#44; there is nothing cheap about this restoration. The painted black engine bayand#44; the factory-style air cleanerand#44; the Chevy orange on the whole motorand#44; and even the correct stickers – rarely do you see a car at this exceptional level. Also check out the undercarriage shots so you know how clean this wagon is from grille to tailgate. But as pristine as it looksand#44; this was absolutely made for driving. The six cylinder fires right up like a good workhorse shouldand#44; and it can pull around the little wagon with ease.
