Details: Mustangs have been an integral part of the collector car hobby sinceand#44; welland#44; they were newand#44; and theyve always represented inexpensive fun. Despite the Mustangs massive popularityand#44; its still possible to get into a vintage pony car for not a lot of cashand#44; as this 1967 Mustang coupe so ably demonstrates.

Cars dont come much more popular than this handsome code Q Brittany Blue Mustangand#44; and this neat little coupe offers a lot of pony car for the money. The paint shines up rather nicely and has a wonderful vintage patina that works well on an old Mustangand#44; whichand#44; as everyone knowsand#44; was heavily revised for 1967. Howeverand#44; Americas favorite pony car lost none of its classic good looks and with this car living in the same family since it was newand#44; you know that its had a pretty good life. Good gapsand#44; straight sheetmetaland#44; and crisp details like the crease that runs from the headlights to the quarter panel scoops all make this car look like it should cost thousands more than it does. There are no body modsand#44; so it still wears a factory hood and Brittany Blue is indeed this cars original color. Nice chrome bumpers and the bright trim along the rocker panels add a lot of interest and the matching blue vinyl top is in very good conditionand#44; adding a slightly formal look.

Remarkablyand#44; the interior appears to be almost entirely original and still in good condition. Sureand#44; theres some discoloration and some evidence that its been drivenand#44; but its good enough that its worth preserving rather than replacing parts. The drivers door panel shows the most wearand#44; obviouslyand#44; but its right on the cusp of needing to be replacedand#44; so well let the next owner decide how to proceed: originality or perfection? Fortunatelyand#44; Mustang parts are insanely affordableand#44; so no matter what you decide to doand#44; it wont destroy your budget. This 67 also features factory airand#44; which was finally integrated into the dash instead of tacked onand#44; and the floor-shifted automatic transmission makes the Mustang feel sporty. Original instrumentation is in nice condition with only minor fading and the entertainment system was upgraded to an AM/FM/cassette head unit some years ago. The back seat is extremely well preserved and the trunk offers a correct mat for an OEM look.

Fords rev-happy 289 cubic inch V8 provides plenty of power in the relatively lightweight coupe. The C-code in the VIN denotes a 2-barrel carburetorand#44; so its reasonably economical to runand#44; too. This particular engine is a rebuilt replacement that was installed in 1997and#44; but its quite stock and runs great. Theres still a 2-barrel carburetor under the stock air cleaner and factory exhaust manifolds ensure that its quiet and comfortable. Its backed by a C4 3-speed automatic and with tall 2.80 gears in the 8-inch rear endand#44; this is a great choice for your next road trip. The underside is unrestored and a bit grungyand#44; but we all know trailer queens are no fun and this just means you can get in and go without worries about the weather. The exhaust system has a great V8 sound that youll never get tired of hearing and standard hubcaps with 195/75/14 whitewall radials are a wonderfully simple look thats often lost when Mustangs are restored.

Complete with maintenance recordsand#44; owners manualand#44; and the original warranty cardand#44; this is a funand#44; well-equippedand#44; nicely preserved Mustang thats extremely affordable. Call today!
