The 234th from the end of the production ? of theMagnificent Mark II. I purchased this US delivery 340 from the estate of the original California owners many years ago. The car is virtually as delivered with one re-spray, in its original Willow Green, performed over 30 years ago! This is an extremely well-preserved Jaguar with wonderful patina. The originalwood, headliner, carpets and black Ambla seats are impeccable as is the brightwork around the windows, bumpers and miscellaneous accents. It is equally as impressive mechanically...starts without hesitation...and simply purrs... The handling and braking continue to be sublime. I have owned many Jaguars and this is the one that has been part of my collection the longest. Its time for someone else to take over the preservation of such a fine specimen of the marque.With theBorg Warner Automatic transmission, power steering anddisc brakes,it begs to be driven. This 340is as rewarding to own and drive as it was when new!
