According to its corresponding Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate, 1E 15856 is an original left-hand drive example manufactured on 30 June 1967. It was dispatched to the United States on 12 July 1967 via Jaguar Cars, New York and first owned by Britt B. Spurgeon. Correspondence between the current owner and Mary Oandrsquo;Rourke of the Jaguar Heritage Trust JDHT Archive states, It was in a run of approximately 20 vehicles all of which were sent to Jaguar Cars New York. According to the build records, this Jaguar was one of the last Series I ever made.
