This restoration started from a beautiful all original Westfalia that had ZERO rust. One of the finest unrestored buses that was available. The interior has a elongated and widened Z-bed, 1 fold out tiki table (not pictured) with freshly powder coated original support, abrand new exact replica tent top canopy with snaps to add the side curtains (curtains not included), all the original metalcanopy support posts freshly powder coated, a original tow hitch (not installed or pictured), custom ROOF RACK, power inverter, baby cot poles freshly powder coated (no material), plus much more ! You will have a superb meticulously restored 1967 Westfalia that would be most inviting to even the most OCD individual. This is a very high dollar no expense spared build that will not be topped by ANY bus on the planet!
Take a close look at the details of the build. See for yourself the quality that is second to none! The paint and body work is phenomenal and this bus has a laser straight body with meticulous paint work colored sanded and buffed to perfection. Just look at the window frames which by the wayALL are safari pop outs and notice that the front half are painted maroon and the back half gold. This was a rust free vehicle to start and required the most minimal amount of filler. So little that a magnet will stick to any part of this bus and stick hard! Look at the frame of the pop up that has been chromed. All the hardware, weather stripping, gauges, steering wheel, are new. There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that isnt 100% new or restored to new. Look at the motor! WOW! This bus runs, drives, shifts, and handles perfectly with the mechanicals and electrical being perfect. A $3000.00 custom hands free I-Phone connect stereo system was just installed. Just plug in your phone and the stereo faceplate/screen on the dash turns into your I-Phone! All the icons appear as seen on your phone and you can voice command anything you please including navigation, phone, music, texts messages, or anything else. You can drive it today anywhere in the country in absolute peace of mind. Starts right up and idles at 900-1000RPM. All metal was coated with rust proof material for decades of worry free rust issues. Every inch addressed!
I do not have the specifics of the size of motor but what I do know is it is at least a2.0 liter. It will cruise optimally at 3350 RPM at 65MPH. Runs strong with gobs of torque that will climb any steep incline with ease. This bus has less than 500 miles since the restoration drivetrain included. All suspension is rebuilt and this bus retains 4 wheel disc brakes. Custom painted chrome steelies mounted to new tires and new chrome VW caps look awesome! So does the chrome emblem on the front exterior. Did you see it?
