Chevrolet started producing C series pickups in 1960 that featured many firsts. Most important of these were a drop center ladder frame, allowing the cab to sit lower and independent front suspension which gives an almost car like ride in a truck. Updated styling features for the 1967 Chevy Pickup trucks came with new body sheet metal that helps fight rust. 1968 brought the addition of side marker reflectors on all fenders. This particular example was originally equipped with a 327 ci V8. About 10 years ago this truck was completely restored at which time the engine was updated with a 350 ci V8 that was completely rebuilt and bored .030 over at that time. Its mated to a T400 tranny that feeds the 10 bolt posi rear all out of a 1976 Suburban and it sounds awesome ripping through its high performance dual exhaust system. It has power steering and power brakes with front discs. The body was professionally prepped without any filler and the gorgeous 2-tone burgundy and red paint job still shows beautifully. It has a set of gorgeous 20 Boss chrome rims wrapped in 27545R20 tires. The interior is very simple and clean and has been upgraded with a CD Player and kick panels that hold speakers. All said and done this is a well above average pickup that would easily appraise for over $30k but we know its still a buyers marker and have priced this beauty accordingly.
