Details: 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible The classic late 60s Camaro is one of the most iconic cars ever made. They are the ultimate muscle car and have been a dream car for kids across many generations. This 68 Convertible is an extremely well built classic that has been done in a resto-mod pro touring style to combine the classic muscle look with more modern performance upgrades. The car is painted in LeMans Blue which is the original factory color and it is paired with a Black top which is also the factory color. The top was all redone and redone well. They did it in the style of the Mercedes tops so it has a zip out glass rear window. The White nose stripe frames the classic Camaro grill which has been modified with aftermarket headlights on each side. The body on the car is like new and was completely gone through from top to bottom during the frame off restoration. It received all new floors, rocker panels, and torque boxes. It was all re insulated and fully undercoated. The rear fender well lip roll was professionally done as was all the work on this car. A custom sheet metal front spoiler was made for the car and looks perfect up front. The exterior brightwork is in excellent condition with all new reveal molding and door handles. The wheels on the car look incredibly tough with Foose 2 piece forged P33-F222 rims sitting under all four corners. They are wrapped with Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR tires that have a lot of life left in them. Powering the car is a 327 V8 motor that is bored .30 over and is the numbers matching correct block. It is paired with the numbers matching powerglide transmission and 10 bolt rear end with 2.73 gears. The motor was entirely rebuilt and has been upgraded throughout. The dash has the stock appearance but has been totally redone as well with NVU vintage gauges and a fully custom stereo. At first glance you may think the radio is stock but it is actually a Vintage Radio unit with Aux input and is connected to Boston Acoustics speakers, a dual voice coil center dash speaker and 10 inch powered subwoofers under both seats. In front of the driver sits the original Mahogany steering wheel which is nice to see in place. The weatherstripping is all new on the car so it all seals up well. A lot of times these old cars come with some extra parts but with this one not only are you getting the original heads and exhaust manifolds but a complete set of Torq Thrust 16 inch wheels with Michelin Pilot tires.
