| Details: | 1968 Corvette L-71 matching numbers car, F-41 suspension, J-79 brakes, with 83,156 original miles. Unusually optioned car with rare one year only original leather Tabaco interior, no power steering and no power brakes. According to the crayon manufacturing marks under the rear deck the date of manufacture was around May 15, 1968. There were two repaints, the car came from the factory as Corvette Bronze with the Tabaco (brown) interior, quite a nice combination. The current paint looks good at 10andrsquo; but eventually will need to be repainted. The car underwent a complete mechanical restoration by Tonyandrsquo;s Corvettes of Gaithersburg Maryland in 2008 when the odometer read 72,000 miles. All mechanical systems were restored to factory original specifications using NOS or refurbished original equipment. It has a working AM/FM radio, gages, fiber optics, and the vacuum operated headlight system pulls a perfect 14.7 lbs of vacuum. Plenty of extras come with the purchase; date correct air pump, spare wheels, very rare NOS window whiskers, etc. The car is fast, runs amazing and can be driven anywhere!
