Details: | Original 1968 Ford Mustang GT 390 S Code Convertible with Traction-Loc 9 inch 3:25 rear end. The cars drive train has been completely rebuilt. The 390 was rebuilt by ARCE Racing Engines in El Cajon, California. The exhaust system was custom built by the legendary Ed Hanson, it was one of the last that was done while he still owned the shop. It was dynoed by the Dyno Shop in Santee, who also re-jetted and set the carburator. The brake and fuel system have been completely replaced with stainless lines. The car runs and drives great. The Interior is completely rebuilt, and looks beautiful. The chrome trim and bumpers have been replaced. The last thing left on the car to do is a good paint job, and a convertible top. All of the rust repair has been done on the car, the right front fender was completely replaced with an original. The car has power steering, front disc, rear drum power breaks, power covertible top, fog lamps, hood and trunk lamps, and the C6 automatic transmission. The non-original additions to the car are: Holly 750 CFM (with vacuum secondaries), Edelbrock Performer manifold, and Dynamat throughout the interior and the trunk. I have brand new exterior trim waiting to go on the car as well as the window strip molds. This is an amazing car, and is quite rare due to being an original S Code convertible, and with the traction-loc factory rear end. And yes the car did come from the factory Candyapple Red, with black top and black standard interior asa GT. |
