1968 Ford Mustang Eleanor, This magnificent Shelby GT 500 clone was patterned after the famous Eleanor model featured in the 2000 movie, Gone in 60 Seconds. She is one of a kind. To my knowledge there is not another car like it anywhere. The body is a 1968 Ford Mustang with a ground up restoration. The body rests on a custom built 2x3 chassis. The beautiful Dupontandrsquo;s pepper gray paint job with black metallic stripes is the same paint used on the movie car. Winner of the best paint at several car shows, the flawless paint job is awesome. Ride in the security and comfort of Procar rally seats. The dash is fitted with JME white face electronic instruments. In the Shelby style center console you will find extra gauges along with a backup camera. Equipped with an Alpine stereo system (with amplifiers hiding in the trunk) you can enjoy your favorite music at any speed due to the massive speakers. But, who needs music when you can listen to the sound of the beastly motor out teardrop exhaust tips. While the original Shelby GT500 had a 427 CID engine, this super-snake has been over-sized with a big-block 588 CID Roush Racing built V8 that runs on pump gas. Of course the upgrades only begin with the engine. Keeping the beast cool is a 4 row aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. A Tremec TKO 600 five-speed manual transmission accepts the massive torque produced by the engine. The rear-end is a Fab 9 housing fitted with a Mosher 3.25 positive traction 3rd member which will not let you down. Strange 31 spline axles send the power to the 17-inch Eleanor style wheels all fitted with new Goodyear rubber. You can rest easy knowing a Viper security system has your baby protected from the bad guys. This car is such a beauty and one-of-a-kind, it turns heads anywhere you travel. Below are listed just a few of the specifications and amenities of this one of a kind car. Paint and Interior: Dupontandrsquo;s pepper gray with black metallic stripes Running Gear: 2x3 tube steel chassis, all welded with gusset plates
