1968 Mercedes-Benz 250SL Pagoda Chassis No. 11304-10-005158 Rarest Model of the W113 Pagoda Series Just over 5and#44;000 examples of the 250 SL were originally produced (¼ of the amount of 280s manufactured)and#44; with only about 1and#44;750 of those imported to the U.S. The 250 retained the stiffer suspension and sportier feel of the early SLsand#44; but provided improved agilityand#44; engine and 4 wheel disc brakes. Here is a wonderful example of a lovingly preserved 250SL. The exteriors body received a glass-out restoration ten years agoand#44; while the interior remains all original and very well preserved. Fender notches and spot welds remain visibleand#44; along with original decalsand#44; plaquesand#44; tags and all body number stamps. Its believed the hardtop remains unrestored.
