1968 Mercury Monterey Fastback? Some have never seen one. I bought this car a little over a year ago because I thought it had nice lines. Almost rust free, 390 big block, 72,000 original miles, and an unmolested dark green paint and green interior, typical for the day. From that point the restoration/ custom build began. We cut out and repaired the rust, stripped all the chrome from the car, filled the holes for emblems and side markers, and prepped the car for paint. Laid out a killer light green and black two-tone paint job using the original body trim as the breaking point, installed new 18 wheels front and rear, added dual exhaust out the back, and freshened up the interior. The bottom of the car has even been detailed and painted. The original 390 motor was only in need of a tune-up and no engine modifications have been done at this time. This mild restomod runs and drives excellent. You will not see another one like it! Just about every part of this car has been touched.
