| Details: | 1968 Pontiac GTO The car is modified (69 doors) and built for street/strip> PHS documented. PHS is Pontiac Historical Society and has won many trophies. Its a 455 with 6x headsl It has a stage 3 cam. It has Hooker headers, 3200 stall, four wheel disk brakes (Baer Brakes), 6 point roll bar, duel Flowmaster mufflers with cutouts, BandM shift kit, edelbrock performer series 600cfm electric choke carb endurashine, edelbrock chrome manifold, electric fuel pump, MSD ignition, and new bushings. Front end rebuilt 1500 mile ago. Has a 3:55 rear end that was beefed up. It has a TH400 that has been rebuilt for drag racing. It has about 750 miles if even that much on the total engine rebuild (new heads, rings, rods and springs).Comes with an extra set of AR rear rims with MT slicks. The car has a 4 stage impeccable paint job with RM paint color (Blueberry Plum). On the quarter windows I have tiger etchings and under the hook I have 3 tiger murals. It has a complete new sterio system with 3 10 inch Wolfs 2 amps, DVD player and full new alarm system with door locks (less than a year and a half old). Received a Gold Award at the 1990 GTO Nationals with 2nd place in Modified Class. Featured in Hot Rod Magazines Power Tour East in 1998. This car is a 1968 GTO with the Endura Delete Option. The 1968 GTO was Motor Trendss car of the year, because of the addition of the Endura Bumper and other safety and styling options. 1968 was the only year you could get the chrome front bumper instead of the Endura, as an option. Standard was the Endura Bumper. These GTOs are very rareto find today as many over the years have been changed for the better looking Endura bumper.
