GTOs were based on the mid-size Lemans chassisand#44; added a big V-8and#44; hood scoops and sweet sounding dual exhausts. The GTO name left little doubt that it was created with racing in mind. The 1968 GTO was a little bigger than the originaland#44; but a much better all-around car. If you purchase an original GTOand#44; you will not go wrong. Howeverand#44; they have experienced a dramatic price rise in the last decade and you may consider it a bit intimidating to cruise the streets in your new investment. Enter the Tribute car.
