| Details: | This 1968 Shelby GT 500 Ford special yellow paint #WT6066, 1 of 129 produced has an interesting story attached to it.She still retains her numbers matching 428 Cj motor and C-6 Automatic transmission. This Shelby was restored in 2005 with all MCA approved parts and quality workmanship and today has about 2000 miles on the rebuild. All original sheet metal and fiberglass. Original frame rails, torque boxes, floor pans, quarter panels, trunk drop off's and engine bay sheet metal. The Kr still retains the Ford and Shelby vin numbers which are stamped into the engine bay aprons. There is no rust or rust repair or any signs of collision. This is by far one of the cleanest Fastback shells that I have ever seen! The car shows very well. All the glass, chrome, trim, interior, tires and wheels are in exceptionally good condition. The motor starts right up no noises, smoke or leaks. The transmission shifts firm through all of the forward reverse gears (mild shift kit). I have had this car up to speed and more on the highway and I can tell you it is well sorted out. |
