In 1968 the Pony wars were epic and anything Shelby meant go-fast!!! This 1968 Shelby GT-500KR, KR stood for King of the Road is a rare bird. Optioned with a 428 Cobra-Jet engine, 4spd trans, 3.50 Traction-Lok differential and Highland Green paint / Saddle interior, amongst others. This particular car was produced on May 13th, 1968 in the Metuchen, NJ plant and only 13 were produced with this particular option compliment. The Shelby GT-500KR comes with a framed Elite Marti Report. The car also had a complete rotisserie restoration by Bill Andrews of HRE Motorcars in Freeport, NY.
