1968Volkswagen*VW* Beetle Put lots of work into this car, completed brake job (new Master Cylinder, all shoes, springs, wheel cylinders, lines metal and cloth, except for the one that runs through the body and over the tranny.), new battery, repacked and replace the dust boots for the CV axles, just did an engine rebuild little less than 2 months ago (put forged pistons in, got a head job, resurfaced the flywheel, honed out the cylinders, etc), all fuel lines have been replaced, gas tank cleaned, new electric fuel pump, Replaced throttle cable and clutch, put in a tachometer, replaced the shifter buschings, new distributor, coil, plug wires, spark plugs, replaced back up light switches, installed push button start, lots more. (there is carpet s) rebuilt the engine, have all the receipts for the parts...it got backed into a fence and it bent the exhaust off the head some and 1 of the heaterboxes is bent a little too but not terribly bad, the heads didnt bend or crack. drove around a bit got another exhaust thought that would solve it.. now theres 1 of 2 things wrong with it, either the carb, valves and timing need to be adjusted or burnt out a valve in the head. in the next upcoming days im going to rent a compression tester and find out which one it is., it does crank and run. its just after a minute of driving it - minimal rust, its there but not flintstone bad. have a brand new headliner and door panels, awesome steering wheel, stereo, kick panels, fire extinguisher, tow hitch, spare parts, lots of books and other great informatives all are included. ( have the hoses for fan, and the engine basket tin) rebuilt the engine, have all the receipts for the parts...it got backed into a fence and it bent the exhaust off the head some and 1 of the heaterboxes is bent a little too but not terribly bad, the heads didnt bend or crack. drove around a bit got another exhaust thought that would solve it..
