| Details: | Up for sale is a restored 1968 VW Beetle. The Bettle was restored in 2007 by original owner. Was sold shortly after restoration to 2nd owner who only owned it for a few months before selling it to my family. This Beetle is in very good cosmetic shape on the outside but is starting to show its age in the paint department. It has a few knicks on the drivers side fenders and a couple of paint cracks on the door hinges. The drivers side door could use some adjusting to get the gaps perfect and the window winder is tight on that door. The intererior of the car is in excellent condition. The after market light grey tweed interior has no signs of wear since the restoration. I have a huge stack of receipts from the 2007 restorations and also receipts including a prepurchase inspection. The car runs and drives great. If you are looking for a car to get into the collector car world that you can tinker on but not destroy your bank account, this is the car. |
