The bittersweet orange metallic paint covering the long hood and abrupt rear deck really makes this two seater stand out. All the panels look arrow straight and the black stripes down the center really make a statement. There isnt a ding or scratch on the Rally wheels or the beauty rings. And the red line tires look perfect on the car. All the glass is original and all the marker lenses look fantastic. Inside the original interior is much like the outside--beautiful! The seat covers, dash, and carpet are in virtually excellent condition. The AM 8 track player is ready and able to play all your tapes! American Motors badges embellish each arm rest on the door panels. Behind the seats is a trunk area of nearly 10 cubic feet. The interior is as it was intended, filled with comfort and convenience. Under the hood is the standard of the AMX Go package, a 390ci V8 power plant rated at 315 hp, 425 foot-pounds torque. Helping your driving performance is a quick-ratio manual transmission, power disk brakes, higher rated heavy-duty front and rear springs, specially calibrated shocks, and a Twin-Grip differential.
