| Details: | Camaro Z/28 RS. This is an original 1969 Camaro Z28 RS. Built the 1st week of December 1968, it has the flat hood (no cowl) and a narrow trunk lid spoiler. The cowl hood and wider spoiler were not available on the 69s until January of 69. The 302 DZ engine has been totally rebuilt into a 383 stroker but I have retained the original DZ internals. The original 4 speed and 3rd member are intact. The rally wheels are correct dated and everything under the hood is correct except the carb which is dated 1971. The car was repainted in its factory Daytona Yellow in about 1982 and is pretty awful. The original black and white Hounds tooth interior has been replaced, although the door panels, dash, console, headliner are untouched original. The black vinyl roof is original. There are rust bubbles under the vinyl roof under the back window and some bubbles under the paint in the usual places on the lower fenders and quarter panels. Its a driver (nothing has been done underneath) and its fast and fun. |
