Details: Offerring for sale a true muscle car icon. 1969 Camaro Convertible, black/black/black combo. An original V-8 Rally Sport X-11 that has has been receiving upgrades in a move to return it to as close to original condition as possible. Body is very good with an older laquer paint that shines nicely, but is showing its age. Top is excellent.

Engine is a recently and professionally rebuilt 350 with all casting model numbers, dates and stamps in line with the production of the car. Engine bay is excellent. Motor topped with Quadrajet professionally rebuilt. Stock cast iron intake and exhaust manifold. Only thing missing in the bay is the original vacuum pods/canisters for the headlights. Headlights are opened manually only. All cocktail shakers are there and are restored. New Pypes stainless dual muffler exhaust. New clutch. Muncie M20 4 speed. Synchros are tired in 3 and 4 so it is finicky there. Rear is 12 bolt posi rebuilt with new 355 gear and clutches. Rear was an original 355 as per the stamping. Tires are newer BF Goodrich Radial Ta on 15x7 Rally Wheels up front and 15x8 in the rear. Disc brakes up front (non-original, but GM products)

Body as all NOS GM trim installed; rocker spears, quarter panel grills, wheel lip moldings and rear bumper guards. Car has original floor and trunk pans. Very solid and rare to have these original pans on a convertible. Metal is all solid with exeption of lower front inner fender wells having golf ball size hole. Rockers are solid and I have been told by a pro are original as well. Quarters were replaced with GM quarters 30 years ago. I have the labels from these parts. Car shines well but could benefit from fresh paint. Original color of the car is Rally Green.

Interior is very good other than a small tear in the driver seat near the seatbelt mount. Passenger and rear seats very good. Car has console without gauges. Has the Rally Sport headlight switch, original but unusable vacuum tubing under the dash and Rally Sport windshield washer motor (may not be operable, never used the wipers). Dash pad is warped a bit from age and heat. Dash has center fuel gauge, tach and speedo. Small cluster of Sun gauges under ash tray.

This is privately owned for 10 years. I am the owner with clear title, but the sale will take place through a Chevrolet dealer in order to protect all involved. Any odd responses with shipping scams or foriegn checks will be ignored.

Analysis: Good Deal, 60.0% below market avg. What's this?
