1969 Chevrolet Camaro for sale $55,000

Here is a genuine 1969 Z/28 Camaro that is one of the most complete and enjoyable examples you might find. Of course, it represents one of the most popular Camaros of all time, but is also a great driving car that you can really have fun with.

This Z/28 was built at the Norwood, OH plant in February 1969 (02D) and wears the correct X33 code on its cowl tag. It was pulled from a barn in 1992 after spending a dozen years in hibernation after several years on the drag strip. It was fully restored in the following years. This included being media blasted to bare metal and replacement of one quarter panel and one section of floor. This was followed by a repaint in its original code 57 Fathom Green along with white racing stripes. Brakes and steering were also addressed, as was the suspension which now has urethane bushings throughout. Bolt-in subframe connectors were also installed to stiffen the body.

There are two engines available with this car. Presently installed is a performance built 350 using a 3970010 casting (note this is a correct casting for a 1969 Z/28 302, which shares the same 4\
