For sale is an all numbers matching 1969 Camaro Z/28 that was restored in 2013 by Kolorcraft Auto Body in Syracuse, NY. The car was dissembled and was put on a rotisserie at the start of its 1.5 year restoration. Every inch of the car was touched and brought back to 100% stock with all GM specific hardware and markings as it was when rolled off the assembly line. The car is an 25,XXX mile original car with only having 300 or less miles driven after the 2013 restoration was completed. The two differences from the all original restoration is the original color was Forest Green that was changed to the factory 1969 Z/28 Burgundy color per the ownerandrsquo;s wishes. Also, a Gardner Dual Exhaust was installed. -Body: 100andrsquo;s of hours went into the prep of bodywork, paint and assembly of the car. All panels were painted off the car and installed once paint was completed. The entire car was primed and painted using Martin Senior paint. All new emblems were installed as well as the racing stripes painted as they were originally. -Drivetrain: The all original 302 Z28 motor was disassembled, machined and put back together using all original GM specs. The only internal parts to be replaced were the 11 to 1 pistons. All new rings, bearing, gaskets and hardware for the heads were used. The original 4-Speed close ratio transmission and rear ends were built with new internals as well. A new stock replacement clutch and new driveshaft were also purchased and installed. The motor has only run on 110 leaded gasoline since completed. -Interior: All new dash, carpet, seats, belts and door panels were purchased and installed. The original gauges are still in the car. Everything from the interior lights to the key buzzer are in working order. I have well over $75k into the car over the last 5 years. Looking for $65k OBO. I do not drive it enough to keep it and looking to move onto the next project. Please call with any questions and to set an appointment to look at the car. Documented Pictures of the Restoration. http://s133.photobucket.com/user/firehawk496/library/1969%20Camaro%20Z28%20Build%20Album |
