Details: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro COPO Clone Want to take a trip down memory lane when muscle cars roamed the street? Well, this is the car for you! This, very desirable, 1969 Camaro with the all powerful 427 cu. in. motor, is waiting for you. It has been repainted in its original color, Daytona Yellow, with Black standard vinyl interior. This is the X44 base model Camaro like Chevrolet used to build the COPO cars. The cars were built for power and not comfort. Many of the COPO cars were purchased exclusively for drag racing. And, just like many of the COPO cars, headers were installed to increase the performance and complement the chambered exhaust system. This Camaro has Headmen Headers with the chambered exhaust. The 427 in this Camaro has the 512 casting block, the 840 casting heads, and the 163 casting aluminum intake as were used in the original COPO built cars. It also has the 11 flywheel and clutch assembly with the 621 casting on the bell housing. The transmission is the Muncie 4 speed with the 660 casting on the main case operated by a Hurst shifter. Finishing out the drive train is the 12 bolt posi with 4.10 gears. The wheels are 14X 7 with poverty (dog dish) hubcaps and wrapped with BF Goodrich Radial TA tires. This car received a frame off restoration and thousands of dollars in new parts were used in the restoration. Partial list of the new parts: Gas tank Fuel lines Brake lines Rear 5 leaf springs Glass All chrome trim Front and rear bumpers Interior Heater core Radiator Battery Grill Emblems I could go on and on but there so much more. There have been hours and hours of labor spent on this car as well. -Vehicle is on consignment and at our clients home -Please Call First and talk to a rep at 231-468-2809 EXT 1 -Showroom is by appointment only Please Call -If you would like a FREE Listing please visit our consignment page or Call
