| Details: | ORIGINAL OWNER 1969 CORVETTE WITH 5,621 ACTUAL MILES!!!! This 1969 Corvette is a time capsule of how the St. Louis Corvette Plant built a Corvette with original paint, interior and drivetrain. Chevrolet had planned on offering the LT1 370hp350 Corvette in early 1969. This Corvette was special ordered in early February 1969 with the LT1 370hp350 engine, close ratio 4-speed, 4:11 positraction rear axle, transistorized ignition, power steering, factory side exhaust, side louver trim, AM-FM radio, Goodyear Speedway F70-15 black wall tires and Corvtez silver with black vinyl interior. About one month after the order was placed GM decided to hold off the introduction of the LT1 engine until 1970 Corvette production and a change order was sent to the Chevrolet dealer to change the engine to the L46 350hp350 engine. After eight months the Corvette was finally built in late September 1969 and delivered to the customer on Halloween Day October 1969. The Corvette was driven 5,000 miles early in its life and then it was properly stored and only driven occasionally. In 1982 the Corvette was shown at the Bloomington Gold Corvette Show where it was awarded the Bloomington Gold Certificate. The Corvette was featured on five pages in the book CORVETTE - The Legend Lives On - The Gold Certified Cars of Bloomington: 1968-1986. This Corvette would complement any Corvette collection.
