Other Features: Drivetrain andndash; Numbers Matching Drivetrain has the original 307 V8 (with partial VIN match), 2-barrel, Powerglide, and 10 bolt rear with 90,000 original miles. The engine starts cleanly every time, idles to spec, and runs as it would have when new. Paint and Body andndash; Gorgeous factory Olympic Gold color. Has 1 documented repaint using Dupont base/clear that shines clear, is very straight, and smooth. Quarter panels, hood, trunk, and doors match original stamp codes. No panel replacements have been done on my Nova. Floor Pans/Trunk Pan - no patches, no replacements. Original seams and seals from factory. Car is just as beautiful underneath as up top. Interior andndash; Every interior component works like factory. Has factory black vinyl interior with bench seat in beautiful condition. Headliner, seats, door panels, dash, etc. are in excellent condition. Has new retrosound radio with ipod hookup that fits in the exact factory location with no cuts to the dash. Has factory GM repro rubber floor mats correct for 1969. Original seatbelts are in mint condition. Brakes and Suspension andndash; Original drum brake set up w/ dual master cylinder. No modifications to original style suspension. Has rear mono-leaf spring to sit lower. My nova brakes and rides well. Has a beautiful stance. All mechanical items from fuel gauge to lights to door handles to locks to windows to wipers, to heater, etc. all work. It is a very functional car with nothing at the moment that does not work. Driven over 1,000 miles on one trip before. This car just goes. All exterior chrome trim is in beautiful condition, including new chrome-plated front and rear bumpers, grille, emblems, bezels. No pitting, not one dent, or hard scuffs on any of the trim. One of the things that set this Nova apart from most is the beautiful side molding in flawless condition. Redline radial tires with Chevrolet center hubcap complete the popular sleeper look The glass on this car is near flawless with no scratches; Weatherstripping and seals are high quality.
