Details: Boss 302 Mustang. This 69 Boss is set up as a driver with open track/Trans-Am modifications but nothing that cant be undone and put back to original. If you are looking for a stock/correct BOSS 302, this is NOT the Mustang for you. Some mods were done back in the day, including a Shelby console with gauges and Hurst shifter. The original deluxe interior with Sportback Comfort Weave seats and the tilt-away column (non-working) remain. It has the sport deck rear seat, rear spoiler, and sport slats. The Calypso Coral is an older repaint in driver condition with textured black hood. The body is extremely solid with a few small bubbles in the door corners only. The engine and chassis are exceptionally well sorted and ready for action.
ENGINE:
Ford Motorsports B-50 2-bolt main block; Eagle 3 crank and 5.155 rods (true 302). Original reworked 1969 BOSS heads; Clay Smith C-292-8-B cam; NOS Hi-Po solid lifters; roller rockers. Bud Moore Mini-Plenum intake with Holley 750cfm. FPA nickel plated headers, Dr. Gas X-pipe, and fresh exhaust. MSD distributer with DuraSpark control. Refreshed BOSS 302 close ratio Toploader and McLeod 3-finger 10.5 clutch.
CHASSIS:
Koni shocks. TCP subframe X-Brace. Maier custom Monte-Carlo shock tower brace and Shelby-style export brace. BOSS chassis modification style shock tower gussets. Shelby drop 1 with upper ball joint negative wedge done right. MAECO Motorsports custom Hi-Po 4-piston calipers, spindles, and discs. Refreshed original 3.91 Traction-Lok with powder-coated axle housing. Ford Motorsports aluminum driveshaft.
PROVENANCE:
Original build sheet and original Lois Eminger #2 invoice; buck tag; VIN tag; door warranty tag. Special Marti letter stating this BOSS was among the first 260 built. VIN stamps on both fender aprons, BOSS 302 in grease pencil on interior of both quarter panels. Parnelli Jones autograph on sun visor. Marti report available upon request.
