1969 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 This Shelby is one of the cars that have imported from a little town in Belgium called Turnhout from a private family collection. Attached is the story in the annual Shelby publication. This Shelby has just a little over 58,000 miles on her. As you can see she has done some traveling in 46 years. At some point the original short block was swapped out and now there is a 428 PI in its place. She still has the correct heads manifolds, carb and distributor. Not sure about the transmission but the rear end is correct. The shell, associated sheet metal and fiberglass are all original. There is no metal replacement due to rust or damage. Minus a little cleaning and detailing the drivers and passengers door strikers need to be adjusted. It is a very nice restoration. There are some small scratches and occasional chips but nothing to talk about.
