This 1969 Mercedes Benz 280SL is in excellent condition inside and out. The car has been stored and enjoyed at seasonal home in Florida for the last few decades. This car has never been in an accident and is a true survivor. This is a fine example of what Mercedes created, not what someone else fixed. The 904 Midnight Blue paint is bright and shiny and in excellent condition with no dings dents or scratches. The chrome is also in excellent shape. The original early style taillights and early markers are in very good shape. The Blue interior is in excellent original shape. The seats, carpets, door panels, chrome has been well taken care of over the years and it is apparent. Seats are soft and supple with plenty of support as they came from the factory. Visors are in very good condition which is a rarity on these pagodas. No rust. Car runs out strong and smooth and needs nothing whatsoever. Shifts are smooth. Drives straight and brakes straight. Everything operates as intended. Has been gone over and tuned up by a marque specialist, truly a delight to drive. Tires are Michelin MX4 18514 in very good condition. Comes with original books, toolkit, and spare.
