1969 Datsun 2000 Roadster (WA) - $32,500Exterior RedInterior Black VinylTransmission 5 Speed Manual (rebuilt)Engine 2.0L V-4Mileage 82,866 actual (1,000 since rebuild)ORIGINAL OWNER. Purchased new from Delridge Datsun, Seattle, Washington on 05281969.This car has had extensive restoration.-ENGINE MECHANICALRebuilt the engine. New chains, sprockets, bearings, rings, camshaft, freeze plugs seals and gaskets. Rebuilt head with new valve springs, guides, seats followers and head bolts. The pistons fly wheel and all moving parts have been balanced. The engine and all parts were steamed cleaned. The work was done by Engine Machine Services of Seattle, Jim Carter, a retired machinist and me.-SUPPLIERS All of the Mechanical and electrical and body parts were supplied by Ralley Roadster, The Datsun and Nissan Dealers in Seattle.-FUEL SYSTEM The Hitachi carburetors were replaced at 70,000miles. The fuel pump has been rebuilt and new hoses have been added. The fuel tank has been cleaned and the fuel level sensor has been replaced.-COOLING SYSTEM The water pump and fan are new. The fan is a 4 blade model without the thermal clutch. The fan belt is new. The radiator has been rebuilt. All the hoses, thermostat and housing are new. The air pump has been removed but the pieces are boxed up.-ENGINE ELECTRICAL The distributor, coil, starter, alternator and spark plug wires are new. A premium battery has been installed and all cables are new.-SUSPENSION AND STEERING The shock absorbers are new. The rubber in the front springs has been replaced. The steering box has been rebuilt and most of the steering linkage has been replaced and new zirc fittings and rubber boots have been added. The rear springs have been sandblasted and painted. The steering has been adjusted and trued by Ballard Frame and Axel.-BRAKES The front brakes have new pads. The calipers have been rebuilt and the brake lines have been replaced. The rear brakes have new shoes, rebuilt slave cylinders and turned drums. The master brake cylinder has been rebuilt. The hand brake has been adjusted. The brake fluid is new.-CLUTCH AND TRANSMISSION The clutch, clutch housing and throw out bearing are new and balanced. Both the clutch master and slave cylinders have been rebuilt. The transmission has been rebuilt. The universal joints have been rebuilt.-EXHAUST SYSTEM The exhaust system is new including the original chromed trumpet tail pipe and resonator.-DIFFERENTIAL The differential is in good shape. The axle bearings and seals have been replaced.-BODY AND PAINT The body was completely refurbished. All of the rust was removed. The car has been painted red. The Metal work on the body was done by Elhot Metal Fabricating, Seattle, WA. Glass installation was done by Quality Auto Glass, Seattle, WA. Fred Vosk of Kirkland, WA painted the Datsun. The wheels are original and have been powder coated. The original hub caps were straightened and rechromed. The windshield washer pump is new and the windshield wiper blades and arms are new. The convertible top is new but the metal frame is original. The windshieldtop connectors are new as is the mirror. The boot for the convertible top and the tonneau cover for the passenger compartment are original. The roadster comes with a hard top from Custom Hardtops, Long Beach, CA.-INTERIOR The interior of the car including the carpets, upholstery and body panels is new and matches the original. Racing harness seat belts and a roll bar have been added. The gauges all work.The interior upholstery was supplied by Classic Datsun Motorsports and was installed by John's Auto Toggery in Mt. Vernon, WA.-DOCUMENTATION AND SPARE PARTS Boxes of spare parts are included with the sale of the car. Renovation progress and expenditures are documented.
