Holiday Road, Holiday Road, Holiday Road! This car reminds me of Chevy Chase in the Vacation Movie, it is a Holiday Cruiser from that 70s Show as well. You can clearly see yourself in the back, your Dad or Mom driving, fighting with you sister or brother in the back seat with the dog all the way in the back, or better, you sleeping in the way back with the window open. Today they arrest your parents for this!
We have to admit that when we saw this we thought wow, here is another very cool piece of Americana, and this one has a great running 350 V8 with a Three on the Tree Shifter. It is as nice to drive as it looks and it really was the pioneer to todays SUV. This CutlassStation wagon has two rows of seats and then a HUGE area for storing everything from a Flat screen TV to three giant dogs and if that is not enough space, dont worry, you can fold down the rear seat for more.
The overall mechanical condition is very good, it starts immediately, drives nicely, shifts nicely, and stops nicely. This Wagon actually has a Tick Tock Tach, we have never seen this before, VERY COOL! Start her up, pack up the kids, the wife, the dogs, and head to Sams Club for a pallet of toilet paper, it will fit. The engine is a very nice running and sounding 350 Cubic Inch V8 which is an easy engine to rebuild and they are very reliable.
The interior is in very good condition, the drivers seat needs a bit of minor work, but the rugs, headliner, steering wheel, and controls are all in good condition and feel good in your hands. Start her up, feel the shifter as she goes into gear, the seats are comfortable, and there are lots of seatbelts for the kids or grandkids.
The body is also in very good condition.There are some minor nits and nats,please see the pictures, but overall the body is in very good shape. The pans, rockers, and frame are in very good shape and need little to no work. There is one spot that could use some work down the road, but it is minor and an easy fix.
In short, this is an Iconic American Car with a great running 350 Cubic Inch V8, a Manual Shift Three on the Tree, good brakes, and in overall good condition. Take her for a spin with the whole family!
