Recently completed frame off restoration of this Mint 1969 numbers matching Pontiac GTO. This restoration began serveral years ago.This GTO was soda blasted down to bare metal. All new metal replaced areas and panels found needing replacement. This GTO has a 400ci/4barrel engine rebuilt by Motor City Muscle in Michigan, knowing that this was a numbers matching engine, care was taken to increase the factory horsepower from 350hp to approximately 450hp. This GTO is a Automatic 400 Turbo Transmission car, this numbers matching transmission was rebuilt, using kevlar bands and a 2400RPM stall converter. The original numbers matching 10 bolt Pontiac 3.55 gear rearend will go with the GTO new owner. During the restoration a new Currie 9, rated 450 plus hp, 3.55 gear rearend was installed in this GTO. The front bucket seats and rear seat assemby was completely refurbuished by Legionary Interiors. This is a factory A/C GTO. This GTO has less than 200 miles on it since the restoration.
