Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1969 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40, a recent ACC Toyota custom build with only 3,000 miles on an all-new drivetrain. Engine, accessories, a/c, transmission, steering, brakes and tires are all new within the last three years. Under the hood is a roller vortec 350 fuel injected crate motor mated to a 4L60E overdrive automatic transmission. Both the engine management and the automatic transmission are programmable. The truck also has new power disc brakes, new power steering and a new Vintage Air a/c setup. The suspension is also all new, with an Ironman lift and foam cell shocks. ACCs workmanship is second to none -- the quality of the custom fabrication and the overall fit and performance are orders of magnitude better than your run-of-the-mill 350 swap. It runs well and makes great power. Clad in Dune Beige, the body is straight and paint is driver quality with some minor flaws; floor pans and rockers are solid with no known rust issues. Glass is good, rubbers are newer and in great shape. Brand new BF Goodrich 33x10.50 Mud Terrain tires are on restored factory steel wheels with correct hub caps in good condition. Custom spare tire mount and rear bumper with integrated lighting. Upgraded LED headlights. The interior shows well with new seat upholstery on the front bench and rear jump seats; doors are in excellent condition, as are the dash and headliner. Attention to detail abounds -- ACC has cleverly manufactured an updated version of the factory gear shift instructions and affixed it to the glove box door. The fuel injection computer is inside the glove box; a locking console runs across the top of the dash. New AutoMeter gauges retain a period-appropriate look, and a stereo is concealed out-of-view (theres no tuner, but you can play whatever music you like via an aux input cable). Custom roll bar was designed not to be visible from outside the truck. Three-point belts for the front seats. This example has a great look, inside and out. Its nice, but not so nice that youre afraid to drive it, and the drivetrain upgrades make it practical for regular use. A rare opportunity to own a tastefully updated and customized FJ for far less than the build cost.
