And now that more and more authentic numbers-matching Hemi cars are being confined to private collections enthusiasts are filling the void with creations like this killer Challenger pro-tourer. The beneficiary of a recent rotisserie restoration this clean coupe wraps a 6.1 liter Hemi crate motor in striking silver and black aesthetics thatll turn heads and drop jaws wherever the car goes. If youve always dreamed of owning a storied Hemi muscle car but dont want the inherent stress that comes with authenticity heres the perfect solution!

BODYWORK/TRIM

This cool E-Bodys 2013 rotisserie restoration began when its chiseled body was meticulously stripped carefully massaged and thoroughly sanded into a smooth consistent canvas. Once that canvas was fully prepped a bright coat of Metallic Silver base was lovingly sealed in a thick layer of clear. And when that clear cured it was decked in black war paint and buffed to a thoroughly substantial presence. Take one look down the body of this old-school Dodge and youll see tough slab-sided panels that have been straightened and finessed far past anything that rolled out of the factory. Pull the car in to the sunlight and its wet looking glow accurately reproduces Chryslers planar lines while offering a level of protection that can only be achieved with todays advanced paint technology. Step up close and all that staring and comparing adds up to one super slick all-American muscle car that wraps brutal performance in killer looks!

Wearing lines that originated on Chrysler designer Carl Camerons famous Charger Turbine Concept this classic cruiser makes a distinctly MoPar styling statement from virtually every angle. At the front of the car a 1970-exclusive grille hangs a flashy Challenger R/T script between halogen headlights halogen parking lamps a mirrored bumper and factory chin spoilers. Behind that grille an R/T-spec hood complete with modern 6.1 HEMI badges founds tinted glass beneath straight stainless frames. At the sides of that hood a prominent profile hangs flush door handles and chrome-trimmed marker lamps between a stylish pit stop fuel filler body-matched sport mirrors and two more Challenger R/T scripts. And at the back of that profile a stainless-trimmed valance props a color-keyed spoiler on body-width DODGE branded taillights a second mirrored bumper and correct quad-outlet exhaust tips.

ENGINE

Pop the hood and youll find 6.1 liters of MoPar crate motor that takes this Dodge from very appealing to MUST HAVE almost as fast as it takes its driver from confident to scared stiff. Measuring roughly 370 cubic inches Chryslers resurrected Hemi uses a revised block a forged crank lighter pistons strengthened connecting rods new oil jets variable cam timing and increased flow heads to turn impressive 10.3 to 1 compression into 425 horsepower and 420 lb./ft. of tire smoking torque! At the top of the Diablo-tuned mill a color-keyed Spectre air cleaner captures wind using two conical filter elements. That air flows through a factory-spec intake and mixes with liquefied fossils that are supplied by polished fuel rails. That air/fuel mixture explodes in a super clean block thats adorned with traditional 6.1 HEMI branded coil covers. Remnants of that explosion are forced in to coated long-tube headers that are
